Community guidelines
A respectful place for everyone.
Tripa is a community of people who love to travel and the hosts who welcome them. These guidelines explain what we expect from everyone — and how we enforce them.
Our four pillars
Be kind
Treat every guest, host and neighbor with respect — in messages, in reviews and in person.
Be honest
Listings must be truthful. Reviews must reflect real experiences. No fake accounts, ever.
Be safe
Follow local laws, respect house rules, and report anything that feels off.
Be accountable
If you make a mistake, own it. We'll always work with you to make things right.
What's not allowed
- Discrimination, harassment or hate speech of any kind
- Threats, violence or sexually explicit content
- Misleading listings, fake photos or deceptive pricing
- Sharing personal contact details to bypass Tripa's payments
- Illegal activity, including unlicensed accommodations
- Spam, scams or impersonation
How we enforce
We review reports quickly and fairly. Depending on severity, action may include a warning, removal of content, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from Tripa. Serious violations are reported to local authorities when required by law.
