Last updated: May 2026
We believe privacy is a right, not a feature. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what control you have over your data.
Data we collect
Account information (name, email), booking details, messages with hosts, device and usage data, and payment information processed via our payment providers.
How we use your data
To provide the service, process bookings and payments, prevent fraud, improve the product, and communicate with you about your account.
Sharing
We share necessary information with hosts to fulfill bookings, with payment partners to process transactions, and with service providers under strict contracts. We never sell your personal data.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to operate the service and optional analytics cookies to understand usage. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your personal data at any time from Settings, or by contacting us. Residents of certain regions have additional rights under local law (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active and for a limited period afterwards to comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.
Security
We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest, and follow least-privilege access principles internally.
Children
Tripa is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. We use standard contractual clauses where required.
